Birth Of A Heroine - Chapter 1The humming of the machinery ecoed throughout the lab. A worn, haggird looking scientist rubbed his eyes, glancing at the charts on his clipboard tiredly. So far, Test Subject #18 was the only baby to survive all the experments Mengsk was having them do. Personaly, the scientist didn't like what he and his comrads were having to do, but this was his job, and he didn't have much choice in the matter anyway. He looked up as a spit-and-polished (clean) looking Marine entered. No doubt one of Mengsk's forces, the scientist mused. Coming to check on his precious weapon.
